Sirius Satellite Radio is radio service that you receive from a satellite in space. It's very similar to XM Satellite Radio. In many ways satellite radio is better then the standard radio you listen to today. You never lose a station and the sound quality never gets fuzzy. Sound quality is better then broadcast radio because it's all digital.
